No Vacant Walls

Fine Art. Found.

Everyone has the right to place art on their walls that speaks to them. We all aim to. We rush to cover empty walls in our homes with decorations, posters, and mirrors. But many of us may feel like fine art is a distant priority when compared to our daily needs. Art ownership may seem like a luxury only accessible to those “in the know” or of a certain class. But I want to help change that narrative.

How Does It Work?

1. I paint artwork in my studio using gallery-quality materials.

2. I place pieces in public areas in the community, ready to be found by passers-by.

3. The artwork gets adopted and finds its way onto a vacant wall in your home. Yay!

Questions?

Nice! I hope you love it. If not, leave it for someone else. Every piece of art comes with a little letter that has some more information about the project. But in short, I'd love to see a photo of where it ends up so that I can share it here and hopefully inspire more artists to share work.

Each piece is a 19x24 inch spray painted work, created using multiple stencils, on archival quality Bristol Board (heavy art paper). I paint each one individually, and they take fairly longer than you might think to create. They're not prints, they're paintings. You might have also seen some of the designs in mural form around Seattle.

I don't have a set area specifically mapped out. But it will likely stay somewhat close to Seattle proper.

Yes, of course. I work with people all the time to find color themes for their space. Contact me for a quote.

Just like crow, the bird.

I don't know yet. This is just a deeply personal project. The best support right now is to share it with people and help make art more accessible. But if you have other ideas, lemme know.
